MINI COLLECTION: BLUE DEPRESSION

This Mini Collection was inspired by Pablo Picasso's paintings in his "Blue Period" when Picasso sank into a severe depression cause by the death of his friend Carlos Casagemas. And that depression becomes my main theme. The color of this collection follows the mood of his paintings such as Broken White, Light Brown, Grey, Black, and the most importantly, Deep Blue.

For the silhouette for this Fall/Winter Collection i used more volume yet constructed for the outer and loose for the inner, with the use of light material but can shape the volume such as Cotton, Acetate, and various types of Linen. The treatments are more likely to be dominant with screen printing and hand embroidery.
